Traditional Espresso Machines
Machines with one to three groups in which beans are ground in separate grinders and then dosed and tamped manually. As their name indicates, these are the most traditional styles of espresso equipment.
Traditional Automatic
This model features electronic controls that dispense a programmed amount of espresso into the cup. The automatic functionality ensures consistency and ease of use and incorporates advanced brewing technology.
Traditional Semi-Automatic
This type of machine features fewer electronic controls and entry-level pricing, requiring the barista to turn off the brewing manually. This capability provides ultimate control for a skilled barista.

Fully Automatic Espresso Machines

Machines that grind, tamp, dose, brew, and extract coffee offer convenience at the push of a button. These are often referred to as super-automatic espresso machines and are categorized into two types: fully automatic one-step and two-step machines.
The one-step machines produce espresso on-demand and include a milk delivery system that steams and foams milk at the touch of a button. This type allows consistent results, ease of use, minimal training, and a self-service option.
In contrast, two-step machines also produce espresso on-demand, but they feature a steam wand for manually steaming fresh milk or using an intelligent steam wand. These machines are an excellent choice for those seeking an entry-level option.

The most popular is the M80/TP Electronic Touch Plus Coffee Grinder On Demand. The new M80 Touch Plus model features a redesigned front coffee funnel, replaced by an innovative color touchscreen display similar to that installed in the premium Sirio-Q coffee grinder. Its extensive menu includes, among the various settings, the “counters” section, where the single, double, and manual doses dispensed are indicated.
